Following the announcement that the legendary race – Zegama – is cancelled for the second year running, the Golden Trail World Series has decided to replace the race instead of reducing the Golden Trail World Series’ (GTWS) number of stages.

The Olla de Nuria, which is already one of the Spain-Portugal’s Golden Trail National Series races, replaces Zegama and becomes the first stage in the Golden Trail World Series 2021.

The GTWS races are the following:

The prize money will remain the same as each stage of the GTWS with €1,000 for the top 5 men and women.
