ELITE ATHLETES QUALIFICATION RULES
1. Qualification rounds
- ITRA/UTMB index: mens 750+, women’s 600+
- Or: Marathon PB: mens within 230, women’s within 300
- Or: Half-marathon PB: mens within 112, women’s within 125
Notes: this is the minimum requirements; specific details are subject to the event organizer’s announcement.
2. Finales
- Top 30 men and women athletes, whose highest combined scores from two qualifying rounds are added together, will qualify for GTNS finale.
- Total quota: 60
Notes: highest combined points from any two qualifying rounds is a must, as well as ranking in the top 30 for both men and women group.
3. Qualification for the GTWS Grand Finale
Will be reserved for the following athletes:
- Top 2 men and top 2 women overall
- Winer men and Winner women in the U23 category
